A Difference In Days

Yesterday, Sunday December 14th was a warm and wonderful day. ( Except for the Broncos)

I rode the Shadow on errands and just to putt around the hood.

There were 6 riders at the Warehouse for the football games, and I talked w/ a few. Didn't even need the full-face helmet since it was 68% and sunny.

The best part of the day turned out to be the evening/nite.
I remembered the "Barn Dance" as I was heading home after the game.
Riding down S.1st st. when it hit me, ..just in time to turn off and stop by Leeanne's for some great music, food and company. ...Toni Price showed up after an early gig and played for an hour or so. She did a duet w/ Leeann and was just amazing.
The old S. Austin gang was there diggin' it. ...smiles everywhere w/ some terrific food.(Duck gumbo, Tuna steak, BBQ chicken and ribs,3 kinds of fresh salad w/ lots of homemade deserts, etc...).

When I got ready to leave, there was a little dew on the Shadow @ 10:00pm and the temp. was down to 62. It was a sweet ride home in the cool night air. I let Lucy out and walked her before covering the Shadow and retiring.

This AM was a whole different story. ...the temp. was 38% and has fallen to 33 as I write this. The NW wind has a chill to it directly from the Arctic. We are sposed' to get a hard freeze this evening with possible freezing rain, so I've covered my plants and tucked the Shadow in for a long winters night. LOL
